Everything I Loved: April Edition
April felt like a complete blur— - n the best way. It was easily the fastest month to date, and one I had circled on my calendar for quite some time. From the start, I knew it would be full of excitement, and it absolutely delivered.
There was a lot of travel packed into these last four weeks, with only one weekend spent at home. While it was a full schedule, it created some of the most meaningful moments alongside family, friends, and those who feel like family. The kind of memories that make the busy days feel entirely worth it.
On the design side, things ramped up quickly - really quickly. The past few months brought on an incredible influx of projects, and at times, it felt like a lot to hold. But as client decisions have started to roll in and we’ve transitioned into the procurement phase, things are finally beginning to settle. It’s a shift I’m welcoming as I ease into Q2 with a bit more clarity and rhythm.
Looking back, April was filled with so many moments worth holding onto. A spring break getaway to celebrate Easter at one of our favorite places. Designing custom concepts layered with beautiful fabrics, rich textures, and thoughtfully selected patterns. A special grandmother, mother, daughter weekend that ended with a first-place win at my daughter’s cheerleading Nationals - one I’ll never forget. Finding pockets of time to catch up on both personal and professional to-do lists that had been sitting for far too long. And a best friend weekend in Vegas celebrating a bachelorette that was equal parts fun and unforgettable.
Add in a handful of incredible dinners and those simple, everyday moments in between, and it was truly a month to remember.
As we step into a new season, I’m beginning to open a limited number of spots for late spring and early summer projects. If creating a thoughtfully curated space has been on your mind, this is a beautiful time to begin.
