Everything I Loved: April Edition

Slow Days, Big Celebrations, and Fresh Starts

April always feels like a bit of a deep breath. The days start to stretch just a little longer, the light softens, and the craziness falls into place. This month was such a perfect mix of cozy downtime and meaningful moments, and looking back, I’m feeling so full.

We kicked off April with spring break — and honestly, the no-plans, no-obligations kind of break is exactly what we needed. Slow mornings, nowhere to be, and just enjoying time together. It was simple and sweet, and those quiet days are always the ones that sneak up and become core memories.

I celebrated Olivia turning SIX! I still can’t believe it. And I also celebrated my mom’s 70th — such a milestone and beautiful night. Celebrating both of them reminded me just how lucky I am to be surrounded by an incredible mom and amazing daughter.

Work-wise, this month brought such a sense of momentum. I presented a full home renovation design, and it went so well — the kind of meeting that just reminds me that I love doing what I do. I also found the dreamiest tile for a primary bathroom project (I’m still swooning over it!), and best of all, I officially signed on a few new projects.

The biggest highlight of the month was seeing Aladdin on Broadway! It was pure magic. We spent the whole day playing tourists in our own city, which is something I always say we should do more often. There’s something about seeing the city through fresh eyes that makes you fall in love with it all over again.

April was a mix of slow and steady and full and exciting—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
