Everything I Loved: March Edition
March, In All Its Beautiful Chaos
I think March has quietly become my least favorite month…and somehow, also one of the most exciting.
It’s the in-between in every sense of the word. The month that connects the slowest, most restful moments of the year to the season where everything begins to move again. And when I say everything - I truly mean everything.
Winter and spring coexist in the most confusing way. One day you’re bundled up, the next you’re thinking about lighter layers and open windows. Schedules start to fill quickly, networking events pick back up, and on the design side, client projects are suddenly in full swing. It’s a constant push and pull between slow and fast, quiet and full, rest and momentum.
And if I’m being honest, it can feel like a lot.
But within that beautifully designed chaos, there’s also something really special happening.
March is when ideas start to come to life.
This past month alone, I presented three full design concepts - each one layered with gorgeous fabrics, custom details, and thoughtfully curated pieces that will soon become part of my clients’ everyday lives. These presentations are never just about selecting items - they’re about telling a story, setting a tone, and creating a vision for how a home will feel. And that’s the part that makes the chaos worth it.
Over the next few months, we’ll be bringing several family rooms and bedrooms to life - spaces that are designed not just to look beautiful, but to support real, everyday living. Spaces where families will gather, unwind, recharge, and create memories.
That’s always the goal.
So while March may feel like a whirlwind - full of shifting seasons, full calendars, and a pace that doesn’t quite let up - it’s also the bridge to something really exciting. It’s the groundwork. The buildup. The moment right before everything starts to take shape.
And for that, I’ll take the chaos.
