Everything I Loved: July Edition

I feel like every time I sit down to write my monthly recap, I say the same thing, “How is it the end of the month already?” July was a fast one full of design moments, major project progress on our (2!) full home remodels, styled moments that I can’t wait to share, and softball - lots and lots of softball. This summer has looked very different from years past as life seasons shift and we adapt to new traditions and new ways of spending our summer weekends. It’s been a whirlwind few weeks with teachable moments (like learning how to deal with second place!) and pivoting and working with clients as we are greeted with construction hurdles - but it's been a great month that I am sad to see go.

This month, I am sharing some of my top moments - and purchases - that made this summer month a little bit sweeter!

  1. Softball Mom - I can’t say it enough, but I am so in my softball mom era and I absolutely love it. No one prepares you for the life of travel sports, the late nights at the fields, the team spirit, and the moments you share with friends who turned into family. It was a special few weeks and although our first year players ended up in second place, their future is sooo bright and I am counting down the days until fall ball kickoff!

  2. Kitchen Designs - I worked behind the scenes on a kitchen design for our interior design and construction project #CRDCOxItsMeantToBe and got to watch our Morristown, NJ kitchen design project come to life. It’s full of beautiful cabinetry, an accent hood, wet coffee bar, dry bar - you name and this project has it! As we wrap up construction and transition into finishing touches, I am so excited to photograph it and share all the good details in the coming months!

  3. The Hulken Bag - These bags are life changing and I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to finally bite the bullet and purchase the.best.bag.ever! It's light weight, it fits a ton, and it can easily glide from meeting to photoshoot and everything in between. It’s been a lifechanging purchase and I don’t say that about much.

  4. Photoshoot Days - It goes without saying, photoshoot days are my favorite and this month I was lucky enough to have my *entire* marketing team present. It’s a day full of creativity, collaboration, and girl time and its truly just the best! This month, I looked around the room and actually acknowledged how far my little business has come as I saw my dream right in front of my eyes!

It’s been a sweet month full of so much. As one of my dearest friends likes to say: Exhausted blessings. I may be tired but I am so thankful that I am blessed with the amazing life I have.
